Under her leadership, the restaurant retained its Michelin star in 2024, the same year she was named Gault&Millau’s Great Chef of Tomorrow, recognizing her as one of the most promising talents shaping the future of fine dining.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Simon Hulstone is one of the UK’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. A Roux Scholar and winner of the Craft Guild of Chefs’ National Chef of the Year, he has represented Great Britain twice at the prestigious Bocuse d’Or and served as captain of both the British Culinary Olympics and English Culinary World Cup teams.

Since 2005, Simon has led The Elephant Restaurant, earning and maintaining its Michelin star for over 20 consecutive years while helping establish the English Riviera as a respected culinary destination.

His expertise extends beyond the restaurant, with appearances on Saturday Kitchen, James Martin, and Great British Menu. Today, he serves on the culinary council for Delta Air Lines, shaping premium inflight dining worldwide, while continuing to champion sustainable, locally sourced ingredients through his restaurant’s 90-acre farm and partnerships with regional producers.
